That white stuff in my backyard? All sleet. Roughly .25″ (so far). Once this sleet turns to snow, we’re expected to have it falling at a 2-3″ per hour clip.

There’s a lot of talk about the Oscars being a two-movie race for best picture. Granted, I haven’t seen The Social Network yet, but I did manage to head out with my wife and catch The King’s Speech at the historic Hi-Pointe Theatre. While Colin Firth‘s performance was pretty awesome, I think Geoffrey Rush stole the movie for me – he was amazing.
