Developer Rick Yackey plans to demolish the distinctive flying-saucer-shaped Del Taco at N. Grand and Forest Park Parkway, near St. Louis University, and replace it with new retail buildings, a city development official said Tuesday.

I get that the building isn’t very pretty or – to put it another way – retail friendly. But it’s a landmark.

It’s finally snowing at my house. Finally. It took until 9:15-ish for snow to decide to show up and kick the 2″ of sleet to the curb, but it’s here. Now, for the 20-30 MPH wind gusts!
