I cannot tell you how awesome it feels to know that my baby girl – my 18 month-old sweetheart – is walking.
Jane took her first steps last night around 6:45pm, then some more before her bath at 7pm. Earlier today, my wife got a text from her mother (who is currently watching Jane) that we can now add five more steps to her rapidly growing repertoire.
When people tell you to pay attention to your kids because “before you know it, they’ll be all grown up!” – I always thought that it was some sort of parenting bullshit. But now I see the light. It’s been an incredible 18 months!
My daughter, Jane, likes to dust
We just need to get her trained on the vacuum cleaner and teach her how to clean the windows.
