My iPhone 4S has a tracking number

So far, the process of moving from AT&T to Sprint has been exceptional. Everyone I’ve spoken with at Sprint has been extremely accommodating and kind – you can tell that the employees (at least in the call centers) are really excited to have the iPhone 4/4S in the fold.

We’ll see if this holds true when I tell AT&T that I need to cancel my contract and to bill me the Early Termination Fee of $165, along with a pro-rated bill. I’m sure that’ll be peachy.

Facetime – iPhone to MacBook Pro

Well, it works. But don’t point your iPhone camera right at your Mac (unless you want to unlock the eighth dimension or tackle the 48 laws of power).

Things I'm overly excited about: June 2010 edition

June is pretty bad-ass. Here’s what I’m really juiced about this month:

  1. My daughter, Jane, is turning one on June 15.
  2. World Cup.
  3. iPhone 4 pre-order drops on Jane’s birthday, shipped a week later.
  4. Roadie up to Madison, WI for a wedding. Oh, and a metric ton of butter burgers. Hot damn.
  5. My homey Nicholas is visiting St. Louis with his ladyfriend all the way from Hamburg the day iPhone 4 is released. DOUBLE WHAMMY, BROHEIM!
  6. Did I mention iPhone 4 yet? Oh, well, yeah. iPhone 4.
  7. The new house is really starting to come together.

There’s more, I’m sure – we’re only 11 days deep in the month – so I’ll make edits as necessary. But just know that iPhone 4 and Jane’s birthday are pretty awesome.

Swing and a Miss yesterday

Damn. That’ll learn me to link to artist renderings of what they think the new iPhone family is going to look like. Apologies to my readers if I got your hopes up for a magenta iPhone. ;-)

That aside, what I really wanted was 64GB capacity. The iPod Touch has it (and has since 2009), so why not the flagship product? If you’ve got a 720p video camera attached, that kind of space is needed.

And don’t get me started on the new AT&T data plans.
