Halloween candy

And we may not have enough. It’s been wave after wave of kids.

I love Halloween.

Happy Halloween!

The frost & cold snap made them look ok and wrinkled, but hey – adds to their mystique, eh?

What if remaining IE6 market share is composed completely of web designers still testing for IE6 and we could have stopped supporting IE6 2 years ago?

Mind = blown.

OIL & WATER DO NOT MIX

I really like these posters. I may have to buy one.

Nanotechnology FTW

And look, I’m not just saying that because my employer is a player in the nanotech game. I’d be saying the same thing about photovoltaics (oh, wait – we’re a player there, too).

I did a double-take

Wait, this is a movie? Oh.

First world problems: that 1% city earnings tax

For as long as I’ve been working, I’ve paid a 1% city of St. Louis earnings tax. It keeps my roads plowed in the winter, potholes filled in the spring, parks open in the summer and the Zoo free in the fall.

The 1% earnings tax in STL and KC should not be up to a state-wide vote. That’s B.S.

I don’t want someone in Jefferson County deciding that we don’t need a fully-staffed police force, a well-equipped fire department, or free attractions in Forest Park.

Vote NO on Proposition A.

St. Louis & Des Moines only two cities that make kids tell jokes before handing out candy

Okay, I detest morning news shows. And our local Fox affiliate’s morning show is a special blend of awful (as you’ll see by clicking the link above). But, via a Facebook post I made about Halloween joke-telling, someone pointed me to KTVI’s website for a story about Halloween Manners (WTF?). In that story, it was revealed that only St. Louis and Des Moines enforce the strict “TELL A JOKE OR YOU DON’T GET MY SWEET TREATS” policy.

Interesting.

Happy Halloween from Groupon?

Did Groupon really just put up spider vein treatments on the eve of Halloween? Really?
